Michael Emerson Cast in JJ Abrams’ PERSON OF INTEREST

Michael Emerson

Yes! Talk about some fantastic news for us Lost fans. TVLine.com reports that none other than Ben himself, Michael Emerson, has gotten a lead in in Jonah Nolan’s CBS pilot PERSON OF INTEREST, which is being executive-produced by Lost co-creator J.J. Abrams.

This news comes after the original project that would have reunited not only Emerson with Abrams, but also his fellow co-star Terry O’Quinn, fell apart. That project, the action drama Odd Jobs, landed at NBC in September. It had me very excited to see two of my favorite Lost actors on one drama, but unfortunately it was recently pushed to a later development timetable.

So now we can all rejoice again, knowing that Emerson and Abrams will indeed work together again. Their latest project, directed by Heroes‘ David Semel, is a crime drama centered on an ex-CIA agent, presumed dead, who teams up with a mysterious billionaire (Emerson) to prevent violent crimes in New York City.

Intrigued? I know I am.
