GOSSIP GIRL “It-Girl Happened One Night” Review

Gossip Girl (CW) It-Girl Happened One Night
GOSSIP GIRL “It-Girl Happened One Night” Season 4 Episode 15 – Tonight’s episode of GOSSIP GIRL was very appropriately Valentine’s Day themed, but I was a little disappointed that we didn’t get more romantic gestures or “Valentiny” moments throughout the episode. Instead it was business as usual with lots of drama, a typical Gossip Girl episode. So let’s talk about it.

Serena – After a small bump in the road tonight with Ben lying to Serena about being a waiter at Chuck’s party, these two are doing great together and that’s a good thing. As I mentioned in my review last week, I love Serena and Ben together, so let’s hope they can continue drama free for a while.

Chuck – This episode wasn’t too kind with Chuck. After being tricked by Thorpe into kicking Lily out of the company, he has now not only lost her but Raina as well. And to make matters worse, Thorpe plans to move on with his plan to dismantle Bass Industries. It’s not looking too good for dear old Chuck, that said I have faith that he’ll find a way to get it all back. He is Chuck Bass after all. Oh and I guess Nate’s Dad giving him his keycard and password to Thorpe’s company doesn’t hurt either. Can’t wait to see the showdown between these two.

Blair & Dan – I have to talk about Blair and Dan together because what I have to say relates to both of them. I was a bit annoyed with Blair for messing with Serena tonight, however I find this new friendship between Dan and Blair sweet. Am I the only one who would love to see a romance between these two? It would be so much fun to see how they would work out as a couple. Plus that last scene with both of them watching the Rosmary’s Baby together was adorable.

Eric – While we didn’t see much of Eric in this episode, he did have one last major scene at the end. That’s right, after Nate and Dan ratted Damien to his father, he is now back and blackmailing Eric into helping him. Yikes! This is not going to end well. But I guess we’ll have to wait until next week to find out what happens next.

So now it’s your turn. What did you think of tonight’s episode of Gossip Girl “It-Girl Happened One Night”? Do you like the idea of Dan and Blair together as much as I do? What about Chuck, do you think he’ll be able to stop Thorne from going forward with his plan? Let me know in the comments.
