As the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton gets closer, Lifetime is working fast to get the cast together for WILLIAM AND KATE – their made-for-TV movie based on the couple.

EW’s Inside TV reports that Victoria Tennant (L. A. Story) has joined the cast and is set to play Celia, the woman who gives middle-class Kate etiquette lessons.

In other news, coming to us from Access Hollywood, another cast member has been added to the movie as well. Serena Scott-Thomas, best known for her role in the 1999 James Bond film The World Is Not Enough (and as the sister of Kristin Scott-Thomas), will play Kate’s mother, Carole. Serena will join Camilla Luddington, who will play Kate, and Nico Evers-Swindell, who is playing Prince William. Additionally, Richard Reid has reportedly been cast to play a character named Ian, a fictional college friend of Prince William’s.

Nico originally hails from New Zealand and recently played a Russian agent in NCIS: Los Angeles. The actor has also had bit parts on Guiding Light and a guest spot on Law & Order. Camilla’s previous credits include episodes of Days of Our Lives, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dawn of the Dreadfuls.

After a courtship spanning more than a decade, William and Kate will finally wed at Westminster Abbey in front of many of the royals of Europe on April 29.
