GOSSIP GIRL “The Kids Are Not All Right” Review

GOSSIP GIRL “The Kids Are Not Allright” Season 4 Episode 12 – What did you think of tonight’s episode of Gossip Girl? All I can say is ‘thank god this show is back on the air’, it’s been soo long since I’ve been able to talk to ya’ll about Gossip Girl. After the way things left off before the break, I was looking forward to seeing Lily get taken down. What about you? I think overall I felt let down that Lily didn’t get served, sad for Chuck that is business his getting chopped up, and happy for Blair that she finally found her calling. Also, are Blair and Dan becoming, dare I say it, friends?? So, let’s dive in to “The Kids Are Not Allright” and talk about my favorite part about the show, the characters:

Serena: Hands down the best Serena moment is when she dressed up like Lily. Great stuff. I was a bit surprised that she met up with Ben. I don’t think he knows the truth about what really went down yet, does he? Although, he wasn’t looking angry at Serena when she met him at the bus stop. I wonder if she has feelings for him? Serena still seems interested in Dan but she also has the attention span of a 2 year old…puppy. My prediction is that she gets close to Ben again. What do you think?

Chuck: After everything Lily did to Chuck, he still trusted her, only to be lied to yet again. Now what’s going to happen to his company? Also, what is he starting up with Russell’s daughter? Do you think it’s business or pleasure? I say it’s business if I know anything of Chuck.

Blair:I didn’t get why Blair didn’t just ask her mom to introduce her to Indra. I thought it was great when Elenore fired Blair and saw right through all her scheming. Also, I can totally see Blair as a fashion magazine editor. With the help of her mother, I think Blair could have a successful career.

Lily: I have a feeling that the forged affadavit is going to surface again at some point. What do you think? What I want to know is what the heck did she do for the judge to get him to release Ben from jail. Should Rufus be worried?

Nate: Poor Nate can never seem to have much fun. It’s a bummer that he has to take care of his dad, although it doesn’t look like he’ll have to for long considering his dad is striking up a deal with the same guy that is trying to shred Chuck’s company. Do you think this is going to cause a rift between Nate and Chuck?

Dan:I hope Dan get’s an internship with the New York Post. I was also proud of Dan for not just going along with Serena’s scheme but doing what he thought was right. Also, I freaking love that he’s becoming friends with Blair. I have no idea where this could be headed and I’m afraid to even guess.

Rufus: I was totally disappointed with Rufus – doesn’t he realize he’s married to a she devil? After everything that was uncovered last episode I was shocked that he was still standing behind her.

Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed tonight’s episode as much as I did. Leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts, opinions, and predictions!
