Jason Ritter Will Return to PARENTHOOD January 18, 2011 News, Parenthood Jason Ritter is one busy fellow these days. According to TVLine.com, the actor is set to reprise his role in PARENTHOOD in one episode that will air later this season. This will be of course in addition to his other job, starring in NBC’s The Event as Sean Walker. Parenthood EP Jason Katims had this to say about Ritter’s return to the show, as the love interest to Lauren Graham’s Sara: “We’re very excited to have him back. Sarah comes to him for advice about something. It’s only a few scenes, but what’s nice about it is you see that they still have this amazing connection. They are great together.” Katims also said that he and the rest of the Parenthood writers started working on a Mark-Sarah reunion story before they even knew if Ritter was going to be available to play it. Though, it probably doesn’t hurt that both Parenthood and The Event are are NBC shows. Katims explains: “Even though we knew he was [on The Event], we broke this story and we thought, ‘It would be so great to get him.’ So we pursued it and he wanted to do it. We’re thrilled to have him back.” Follow me on Twitter @mokibobolink Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)
