John Corbett to Recur on PARENTHOOD December 22, 2010 News, Parenthood John Corbett (United States of Tara, Sex and the City) has snagged a recurring role in PARENTHOOD. Deadline reports Corbett will play Seth, Sarah’s ex-husband in the NBC drama. A musician and recovering alcoholic, Seth, who is dad to Amber and Drew, has been mentioned multiple times but only appeared in the pilot, when he was played by Sons of Anarchy‘s Darin Heames. This multiple episode arc will find Seth playing concerts around Berkeley and trying to reconnect with his kids and ex-wife. What do you think of this casting? Parenthood returns to NBC with new episodes Tuesday, January 4 at 10pm eastern/9pm central. Corbett’s first episode will be March 7, when the show moves to its new Monday 10pm eastern/9pm central timeslot.
