Final CAPRICA Episodes To Air January 4 November 23, 2010 Caprica, News It may be small comfort to fans, but the last five episodes of CAPRICA, which were yanked from the Syfy schedule after the show’s cancellation, will air. Entertainment Weekly reports that Syfy will show “Blowback, “The Dirteaters,” “The Heavens Will Rise,” “Here Be Dragons” and “Apotheosis” back to back on Tuesday, January 4 beginning at 6pm eastern/5pm central. Fans tried to save Caprica by sending over 650 pounds of apples to NBC Universal, but the apples were donated to City Harvest and the show will not be revived. Maybe the campaign did help sway executives to air the final episodes, though. The cancellation hasn’t been easy on executive producer David Eick, either. “I understand that these are rarely simple decisions and I know the current leadership at Syfy genuinely loved the show and were hell-bent on protecting it and seeing it succeed,” Eick said. “Caprica was an extremely smart, unique show and it’ll take quite some time for me to get used to the idea that it’s really gone.” Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Google+ (Opens in new window)Click to share on Tumblr (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)
