DARK BLUE Cancelled

Dark Blue (TNT) Season 2

TNT has cancelled DARK BLUE after two seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The second (now final) season of the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced crime drama ended on September 15 and averaged 2.2 million viewers per episode.

Dark Blue starred Dylan McDermott as the head of an elite LAPD undercover team. Omari Hardwick, Nicki Aycox, and Logan Marshall-Green also starred from the beginning while Tricia Helfer was brought on as part of the second season retooling.

TNT had previously renewed all of its other summer dramas: The Closer, Rizzoli & Isles, Memphis Beat, Leverage, and Hawthorne, and the similarly low-rated Southland returns to TNT January 4 for its third season.
