THE EVENT, LAW & ORDER: LOS ANGELES and OUTSOURCED Given Full Seasons

THE EVENT cast

NBC has given full-season pickups to three of its new Fall 2010-11 series, The Event, Law & Order: Los Angeles, and Outsourced. This is especially good news for The Event viewers worried about committing to the serialized thriller.

“We are pleased with the quality of The Event, Law & Order: Los Angeles and Outsourced, and feel they are an important part of helping to re-build our schedule and our studio pipeline,” said Angela Bromstad, President of Primetime Entertainment at NBC. “We believe in these new series and the creative auspices behind them.”

The Event has averaged 9.1 million viewers, Law & Order: Los Angeles has an average 8.7 million viewers, and Outsourced brings in 6.3 million.

So what do you think about this news? Can fans of The Event breathe a little easier knowing it’s been picked up for a full season?
