NBC Stops Production of OUTLAW

NBC has halted production on the Jimmy Smits legal drama Outlaw due to low ratings, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The show isn’t dead, but it’s definitely on life support. Although they’ve stopped making future episodes, NBC will continue to air the five remaining episodes of Outlaw they’ve already filmed. If ratings improve, production could start up again.

The first three episodes of Outlaw haven’t drawn a huge number of viewers, which isn’t hard to believe given the Friday night timeslot. The October 1st episode had 4.7 million viewers and a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating.

Have you watched Outlaw? Why do you think people aren’t tuning in?
