Lauren Holly Stars in Hallmark Channel’s THE TOWN CHRISTMAS FORGOT

The Town Christmas Forgot

In its continued quest to make sure no one forgets Christmas this year, Hallmark Channel has announced that its Original Movie World Premiere THE TOWN CHRISTMAS FORGOT will air Thanksgiving night.

Lauren Holly (NCIS) stars along with her real-life son Azer Greco, Rick Roberts (The Night Before the Night Before Christmas), and newcomer Torri Webster.

Days before Christmas, Annie (Holly) and Charles (Roberts) Benson hit the road for a holiday ski trip with their two children, the materialistic Trish (Webster) and the quiet and introverted Nolan (Greco). They live together, but each is lost in his or her own world of digital communication, satellite radio and cell phones. That changes when the family takes a short cut through back roads, losing contact with the outside world. Then, when their SUV breaks down, they end up stuck in the rural village of Nowhere.

Nowhere is dying and Christmas is bleak for the locals who can only exchange inexpensive or homemade gifts. In spite of the town’s depressed economy, local café owner Samantha (Stephanie Belding, Eureka) lifts the town’s spirits by organizing a Christmas Eve pageant, and she enlists the Bensons’ help. There’s a chain reaction of enthusiasm as Annie lends her dancing skills, Trish offers to help out with the rock band, and Nolan rounds up Santa Claus. With no outside distractions, the family learns that life “simply” is better. What began as a misfortunate event leaves an indelible lesson: being present in the lives of others is the best gift of the season.

The Town Christmas Forgot will premiere on Hallmark Channel Thursday, November 25 at 8pm/7 central.
