STARGATE UNIVERSE Lines Up Season 2 Guest Stars

Syfy has unveiled a pretty cool list of guest stars set to appear on the upcoming season of Stargate Universe. Victor Garber (Alias), Kathleen Quinlan (Apollo 13), and French Stuart (3rd Rock From the Sun) are just some of the names on the list.

Victor Garber will star as Ambassador Ovirda of planet Langara, Kathleen Quinlan will play Senator Michaels, who replaced the late Senator Armstrong as the new head of the off-world spending committee, and French Stewart guest stars as Dr. Andrew Covel, the new head of research at Stargate Command.

Longtime Stargate fans should also be happy to hear that David Hewlett (Dr. Rodney McKay) and Robert Picardo (Richard Woolsey) will be reprising their roles from SG-1 and Atlantis. It will be the first appearance for their characters on Universe.

Robert Knepper (Heroes, Prison Break) and Julie McNiven (Supernatural, Mad Men) will also appear in a multi-episode arc as members of the Lucian Alliance.

Syfy says that, “In the new season, the team fights to take back the ship from the Lucian Alliance, who transported themselves on board Destiny with plans to take control. The team also discovers their true mission. It’s not about going home, it’s about going further.”

Season 2 of Stargate Universe premieres on Tuesday, September 28th at 9pm on Syfy. Note that the show has moved Tuesdays this season.
