James Marsters Joins Syfy Pilot THREE INCHES

Syfy recently announced the full cast of their new pilot, Three Inches, and the lineup should make sci-fi fans geek out. Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan fave James Marsters will star in the drama series about less-than-super superheroes, along with Battlestar Galactica alum Stephanie Jacobsen (Razor) and Naoka Mori from Torchwood.

Three Inches, which was written by Twin Peaks scribe Harley Peyton, is about professional daydreamer and underachiever, Walter Spackman (Noah Reid). After he is struck by lightning, he develops the ability to move any object using just his mind… but only a distance of three inches. He’s soon recruited by Troy Hamilton (James Marsters), a former government agent who takes Walter into his own team of “super” heroes who fight evil wherever they find it.

Other series regulars include: Andrea Martin (My Big Fat Greek Wedding, SCTV Network), Antony Del Rio (The Super Hero Squad Show), Kyle Schmid (Blood Ties) and Brandon Jay McLaren (TRON: Legacy, Harper’s Island). Alona Tal (Veronica Mars), Craig Eldridge (Covert Affairs) and Julian Richings (Supernatural) will guest star in the pilot episode.

Production on the Three Inches pilot began in Toronto on August 30th.
