But none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty named Penny moves in next door. However, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities…including love.

Within these not-so-hallowed halls, “Community” focuses on a band of misfits, at the center of which is a fast-talkin’ lawyer whose degree has been revoked, who form a study group and, in “Breakfast Club” fashion, end up learning a lot more about themselves than they do about their course work.

None of these students couldn wait to graduate and head out into the real world, but the world they were entering got very real, very fast. Personal, social and global events of the last decade shaped and altered their life courses, and when the documentarian reconnects with them, they’re faced with the questions of whether their old hopes and dreams were realized, what they’ve become and where they’re still headed.

Bones (FOX)Bones (FOX) – 8pm DTV

Starts September 23

Synopsis: DR. TEMPERANCE BRENNAN is a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institute in Washington, D.C., and writes novels on the side. When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless (when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed), law enforcement calls on Brennan for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones.

While most people can’t handle Brennan’s intelligence, her drive for the truth or the way she flings herself headlong into every investigation, SPECIAL AGENT SEELEY BOOTH of the FBI’s Homicide Investigations Unit is an exception. A former Army sniper, Booth mistrusts science and scientists – the “squints,” as he calls them – who pore over the physical evidence of a crime. But even he cannot deny that the combination of his people-smarts and Brennan’s scientific acumen makes them a formidable duo.

Aside from Booth, Brennan is most comfortable with her equally brilliant colleagues at the Jeffersonian’s Medico-Legal Lab. ANGELA MONTENEGRO, an artist who specializes in reconstructing facial features and crime scenes, is Brennan’s earthy and bawdy best friend; DR. JACK HODGINS, affectionately known as “the slime and bug guy,” is a conspiracy theorist and expert on insects, spores and minerals; and DR. CAMILLE “CAM” SAROYAN, the street-smart and centered coroner, must wrangle all the geniuses under her purview. Lending his professional expertise to Brennan and Booth is DR. LANCE SWEETS, a brilliant young FBI psychologist who is equally adept at profiling murderers and providing “couples therapy” to Booth and Brennan.

Cast: Emily Deschanel (Dr. Temperance Brennan), David Boreanaz (Special Agent Seeley Booth), TJ Thyne (Dr. Jack Hodgins), Michaela Conlin (Angela Montenegro), Tamara Taylor (Dr. Camille “Cam” Saroyan), John Francis Daley (Dr. Lance Sweets)

When Henry finds he can no longer afford to pay rent, Ed reveals a soft spot and invites Henry to move in with him. Henry agrees, knowing that the verbal assault will not abate and now there will be no escape. Describing their father/son relationship is tricky, but Ed will easily come up with a few choice words.

Fringe (FOX)Fringe (FOX) – 9pm DTV

Starts September 23

Synopsis: Set in Boston, the FBI’s Fringe Division began when Special Agent OLIVIA DUNHAM enlisted institutionalized “fringe” scientist WALTER BISHOP and his globe-trotting, jack-of-all-trades son, PETER, to help in the investigation of an airline disaster that defied human logic. After the defining case was solved and revealed to be one of a series of unusual incidents linked together, the unlikely trio supervised by Special Agent PHILLIP BROYLES and assisted by Junior Agent ASTRID FARNSWORTH was formed.

As unimaginable events continued to unfold over the first two seasons, the Fringe Division’s investigations often led them to the multifaceted biomedical science, energy and technology corporation Massive Dynamic and its enigmatic chief executive NINA SHARP. When Olivia discovered that she was a test subject as a child of Walter Bishop and Massive Dynamic’s elusive founder and chairman WILLIAM BELL (guest star Leonard Nimoy), it triggered a search for details about her forgotten and perplexing past. Her findings uncovered the existence of a parallel universe where Bell ominously warned of a threat that would change our world forever. She also recovered her childhood ability to detect objects from this parallel universe, which shockingly led her to learn that Peter is from the “other side.” As a result, Walter revealed that he kidnapped Peter as a child from the parallel universe 25 years ago. Evident by the omnipresence of the “Observers,” there is more than one of everything in the worlds of FRINGE.
