FLASHFORWARD Series DVD Review

Although fans may be bummed that ABC’s FLASHFORWARD ended after just 1 season, they should be happy to know that on August 31st, 2010 the complete series will be released on DVD. Although the DVD is cleverly marketed as “The Complete Series”, which is true, it’s actually just 1 season. However, the set contains 5 discs, 22 episodes, and a whole bunch of really cool special features which I believe make it a good value.

For those of you not familiar with the show, FlashForward is a drama series that takes place in Los Angeles. One day everyone in the world passes out for about 2 minutes at exactly the same time. While this happens, everyone has visions of themselves in the future (April 29th 2010). Some people see themselves as happy, others are surprised by what the find, and some don’t have any visions at all; which leaves them wondering if this means if they are even alive in the future? FlashForward stars Joseph Fiennes, John Cho, Jack Davenport, Zachary Knighton, Peyton List, Dominic Monaghan, Brian O’Byrne, Courtney Vance, Sonya Walger, and Christine Woods.

Personally, I thought FlashForward was a great show and I’m bummed it only lasted for 1 season. If you haven’t checked out the show yet, I encourage you to watch the DVDs. If you are a fan of the show, I think you’ll be pleased with the DVD and all the bonus material.

Here are the details of the DVD bonus features:
