Jericho alumna Alicia Coppola has signed on to guest star in NCIS: LOS ANGELES for at least one episode in the second season, TV Guide reports. Her first appearance will be in October, and there is the possibility her role could become recurring.

Coppola will play FBI agent Amy Rand, an authoritative and athletic kidnapping expert who helps the NCIS team prevent a killing spree by finding a victim.

Best known for playing IRS agent Mimi Clark on Jericho, Coppola also starred on NBC’s soap opera Another World for three years in the 1990s and has appeared on shows ranging from Bones to Drop Dead Diva.

NCIS: Los Angeles will start its sophomore season on CBS with back to back episodes on Tuesday, September 21 at 9pm/8 central. You can find all of the fall premiere dates and times here.
