LAW AND ORDER: SVU Bringing Back Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden is reprising her role of federal agent Dana Lewis in the eighth episode of LAW AND ORDER: SVU this fall, TV Guide reports. The Oscar winner has appeared on SVU twice. In her first appearance, in 2005, she teamed up with Benson and Stabler to investigate a case involving white supremacists, and she was nominated for an Emmy for her second episode in 2007.

There are no details yet on what brings Dana back to the Special Victims Unit. Harden can currently be seen in her recurring role as Dr. Elizabeth Blair on USA’s Royal Pains. She received her Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for her role of Lee Krasner in 2000’s Pollock.
