Entourage’s Janet Montgomery to Recur on HUMAN TARGET

HUMAN TARGET is adding a thief to its team in the form of Janet Montgomery (Entourage). Montgomery will play Ames, who runs into Chance (Mark Valley), Winston (Chi McBride), and Guerrero (Jackie Earle Haley) and then aids them in some of their missions. The role is recurring, and is just the latest change for the show’s second season. Indira Varma (Rome, The Whistleblowers) has already signed on as a regular and will play Ilsa, the wealthy widow who becomes the boss when she purchases Chance Protection after it comes to her aid. Up until now, the comic-based action drama had been all testosterone-fueled and if the blogosphere is any indication, not all fans are happy about the influx of estrogen.

These changes come after a shake-up in the show-runner slot. Matthew Miller (Chuck) now helms Human Target, replacing Creator/Executive Producer Jon Steinberg, who will remain with the show. Human Target’s second season premiere airs Friday, September 24 at 8pm/7 central.

What do you think of the new additions? Is it good to expand the show or is Miller tinkering too much?
