Janeane Garofalo To Star In CRIMINAL MINDS Spinoff June 29, 2010 CBS, News Actress and comedian Janeane Garofalo is nearing a deal to join the cast of the planned Criminal Minds spinoff. Forest Whitaker, who was introduced recently on the show, will play the lead role in the spinoff which is entitled Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. Garofalo will join Beau Garrett as one of the two main female leads in the upcoming series. Whitaker will be in charge of an elite team of FBI agents within the bureau’s Behavioral Analysis Unit, with Garofalo and Garrett being two of his agents. There is no known date for the premier of the spinoff series.
