New AMC Show From THE BLIND SIDE Director June 26, 2010 AMC, News John Lee Hancock John Lee Hancock, who directed the feature film drama “The Blind Side,” starring Sandra Bullock has attracted the attention of TV network AMC for his latest project which was written by Graham Gordy and Michael Fuller and will be produced by Anonymous Content with Hancock also serving as an executive producer. The story follows a high-profile coach and his once legendary college football program. The film, entitled “The Wreck,” sees the school give the coach one more chance to turn the team back into winners or lose his job. No stars are yet attached to the project. Negotiations with AMC are still ongoing. AMC is developing several new hour-long series after the success of its first two. “Mad Men” and “Breaking Bad” have been smash hits for the network and AMC is looking to add to its lineup. In addition to several projects coming down the pipeline; AMC will have the political thriller “Rubicon” debut in August followed by the zombie thriller “The Walking Dead” which arrives in October.
