THE GUILD Season 3 DVD Review

The Guild Season 3 DVD

THE GUILD is without a doubt one of the most successful web series out there, having already streamed three seasons with a fourth one on the way, and there’s a reason for that. No, it’s not Felicia Day’s adorableness (is that a word?), although that does help, it’s because the web series has been able to create a very likeable set of characters and the funny yet relatable situations they find themselves in.

The DVD for Season 3 of The Guild was just released (you can get your copy on Amazon or enter our giveaway while there is still time) and I was able to catch up on everything the gang has been up to, in addition to having some additional laughs with the bonus features (more specifically the gag reels, which I always love!).

Season 3 finds The Guild’s Knights of Good facing a whole new adversary: Axis of Anarchy guild led by Fawkes (guest star Wil Wheaton). Even worse, this encounter leads to Vork (Jeff Lewis) resigning from his role as the leader of Knights of Good, leaving Codex (Felicia Day) in charge. Now faced with the Axis of Anarchy set on destroying them and her own people leaving the guild, Codex desperately tries to keep things together and put things back the way it was.

Season 3 of The Guild has a lot of things going for it, the cast is back, which is exciting, Wil Wheaton guest stars (which is almost enough reason to watch it, he plays bad guys so well), and the cliffhanger is pretty priceless, which makes me wish season 4 was online already. Pretty much if you are a fan of the show, you’ll love it. I was also impressed by how good the look of the series was, quality just keeps getting better and better every season and it’s a pleasure to watch it.

And the best part of getting to watch season 3 on DVD is that you get episodes back to back, so it’s like watching an hour and a half movie. But that’s not all, you also get a lot of bonus features like the gag reels that I mentioned previously, the famous “Do You Want to Date My Avatar” music video, some interviews, featurettes, and more fun stuff.

So make sure you grab yourself a copy of The Guild Season 3 DVD. And stay tuned for Season 4 coming this summer.
