HBO has released a new promotional poster titled “VILF”, the second in a series of 12 posters that are being distributed online as part of a tease campaign promoting the third season debut on June 13.

For those of you out there who are puzzled by what this means, all I can tell you is that “V” does not stand for “Visitor” (Wink Wink ABC) but for “Vampire”. For the rest, if I have to explain this to you, you are either too young or way too innocent.

I am very impressed by the marketing effort around True Blood. Last year was pretty impressive and this year is no different. Other networks (**Cough** ABC** Cough) who do stuff like put annoying logos during the final season of one of the most iconic shows ever could learn from this.
