Worst Cooks in America

Food Network’s new reality competition series, WORST COOKS IN AMERICA premiered last week and I’ve been meaning to write about it since. At first I didn’t think I was going to like it, but turns out it’s a lot of fun.

In Worst Cooks in America twelve of the worst cooks in the country compete for a chance to win $25,000 by learning how to cook and passing the ultimate test: cook for a panel of esteemed culinary critics, who think their meal is actually cooked by acclaimed chefs Anne Burrell and Beau MacMillan.

Now, I don’t think of myself as an amazing cook, but compared to these people I’m brilliant. Seriously, the meals they prepared for the chefs in the first episode were just horrible. It’s going to be interesting to see if they can really learn how to cook a proper meal in 5 weeks.

And best of all, the recipes are things that even I would want to learn how to cook. So if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing cooking show to watch, you might want to give Worst Cooks in America a shot. The show airs Sundays at 10pm on the Food Network.
