GHOST WHISPERER “Til Death Do Us Start” – 8pm CBS
Episode Synopsis: Eli’s father suffers a massive heart attack, triggering a tangled reunion with Eli’s mother, who has been dead almost ten years and unable to cross over, as a result of a secret she took to her grave, on GHOST WHISPERER, Friday, Oct. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

LAW & ORDER “Great Satan” – 8pm NBC
Episode Synopsis:When an aspiring musician is found dead behind a trash can, Detectives Cyrus Lupo (Jeremy Sisto) and Kevin Bernard (Anthony Anderson) find a bag full of cash leading them to a slew of suspects including, Don Sorenson (Guest Star John Bolger). Sorenson confesses to shooting the musician when it is revealed that his daughter is thought kidnapped, but the clues don’t seem to match-up when his daughter, Jill Sorenson (Guest Star Portia Reiners), appears back at home after losing her cell phone. Using the stolen cell phone as a guide, the detectives link the case with a bigger terrorist scheme.

SMALLVILLE “Rabid” – 8pm The CW
Episode Synopsis: Zod (Callum Blue) and his soldiers release a virus into the air that turns humans into zombies. The only way to stop it is to make an antidote from the blood of another Kryptonian. After Lois (Erica Durance) is infected, Chloe (Allison Mack) pleads with Clark (Tom Welling) to donate his blood to stop the epidemic, even though it risks outing him to Zod. Michael Rohl directed the episode written by Jordan Hawley.

MEDIUM “Pain Killer” – 9pm CBS
Episode Synopsis: A cancer-stricken friend of Allison’s dies suddenly, leading her to suspect the woman’s illness did not kill her and that a hospital staffer is to blame. And, Joe takes cues from a story Bridgette wrote when it eerily echoes his latest job interview, on MEDIUM, Friday, Oct. 9 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

MONK “Mr. Monk Goes to Group Therapy” – 9pm USA
Episode Synopsis:Monk is forced to attend Dr. Bell’s group therapy sessions, and he begins to suspect that a murderer in the group might be going after the other patients.

STARGATE UNIVERSE “Air” – 9pm Syfy
Episode Synopsis:Lt. Scott and Dr. Rush travel to a desert planet to locate a mineral essential to Destiny’s life support system.

PSYCH “Let’s Get Hairy” – 10pm USA
Episode Synopsis:Abigail is disappointed when Shawn accepts a case at the Army base instead of going on a date with her, but he and Gus are intrigued by a death they believe shouldn’t have been ruled a suicide and the thought of working with Juliet’s brother.
