CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM “Vehicular Fellatio” Early Review (Season 7 Episode 2)

Larry David in Curb Your Enthusiasm

Today I checked out an advanced copy of Season 7, Episode 2 of CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM “Vehicular Fellatio,” which airs on Sunday, September 27 at 9pm on HBO. Do I really need to say more? They had me at Vehicular. Although the first episode was outstanding, I thought this one was even better. It might even be in my top 10 of all time. I’m serious, it’s really funny.

Here’s what I’ll give away about “Vehicular Fellatio”: Loretta plays the cancer card and Larry is none too pleased to be taking care of her. He’s actually pretty darn selfish about the whole thing if you ask me. Just when it seems like he’s reached his breaking point, Larry schemes a way to possibly break things off with her. Then, Larry gets Leon in a dilemma with a well intended gesture, which of course blows up in his face. However, the most hilarious aspect of this episode would have to be how Larry, Loretta, and Jeff all encounter some Vehicular Fellatio. Let your imagination chew on that for a little while.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is back in a strong way. Even though Curb has been off the air for nearly 2 years, the show hasn’t skipped a beat. I think one of the reasons is because Larry is so relatable. One of my favorite parts of this episode is where Larry is having difficulty opening up a GPS that’s packaged in some hard-to-open plastic wrapping, and he just ends up stabbing it repeatedly with a knife. Who hasn’t felt that way before? It’s his ability to make comedy out of these types of little things that makes you wonder if Larry David’s genius will ever run out.

Also, there still haven’t been any appearances by the Seinfeld crew so far, but I’m keeping my hopes up that we see something soon!
