GREY’S ANATOMY Season 6 Premiere First Look


Take a first look at GREY’S ANATOMY two-hour season 6 premiere episodes titled “Good Mourning” and “Goodbye” premiering Thursday, September 24 at 9:00 p.m., ET on ABC.

Episode Synopsis: GREY’S ANATOMY Season 6 Premiere “Good Mourning” and “Goodbye” – “Grey’s Anatomy” returns for its sixth season with a two-hour event on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. In the first hour, entitled “Good Mourning” (9:00-10:00 p.m.), the hospital staff is left to deal with the aftermath of George’s passing. Hitting the staff hard, they all find unique ways to get through the various stages of grief. George’s mom returns, faced with the difficult task of deciding what to do with his organs. In the second episode, entitled “Goodbye” (10:00-11:00 p.m.), time has passed… Everyone is struggling after losing one of their own and are turning to any distraction they can find. Meredith and Derek seem to be consummating their marriage anywhere and everywhere, while Cristina and Owen have been instructed to abstain from sex by Dr. Wyatt.

“Grey’s Anatomy” stars Ellen Pompeo as Meredith Grey, Patrick Dempsey as Derek Shepherd, Sandra Oh as Cristina Yang, Katherine Heigl as Isobel “Izzie” Stevens, Justin Chambers as Alex Karev, Chandra Wilson as Miranda Bailey, James Pickens, Jr. as Richard Webber, Sara Ramirez as Callie Torres, Eric Dane as Mark Sloan, Chyler Leigh as Lexie Grey, Kevin McKidd as Owen Hunt and Jessica Capshaw as Arizona Robbins.

Guest cast for “Good Mourning” include Shannon Lucio as Amanda, Debra Monk as Mrs. O’Malley, Martha Plimpton as Pam, Mitch Pileggi as Larry Jennings, Zoe Boyle as Clara and Zack Shada as Andy.

Guest cast for “Goodbye” include Amy Madigan as Dr. Wyatt, Shannon Lucio as Amanda, Martha Plimpton as Pam, Mitch Pileggi as Larry Jennings, Zoe Boyle as Clara, Zack Shada as Andy and Adam Lazarre White as Oncology Resident.
