Syfy’s ALICE First Preview

Matt Frewer as The White Knight, Caterina Scorsone as Alice Hamilton, Andrew Lee Potts as The Hatter in Alice

Check out a promo for Syfy’s ALICE, a re-imagining of Lewis Carroll books “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking-Glass.” Thanks to our good friends at Critictoo for putting this up.

I recently put up some pictures for Alice as well, but a preview is of course always better. I have to say I like what I see so far. And since I really loved Syfy’s Tin Man, I have a feeling that I am also really going to enjoy Alice.

Alice will premiere in December 2009 on Syfy. Watch the preview below.

Alice is the modern-day story of Alice Hamilton (Caterina Scorsone), a fiercely independent twenty-something who suddenly finds herself on the other side of a looking glass. She is a stranger in an outlandish city of twisted towers and casinos built out of playing cards, all under the rule of the deliciously devilish Queen of Hearts (Oscar winner Kathy Bates) who’s not very happy about Alice’s arrival.

The amazing cast includes Caterina Scorsone as Alice; Kathy Bates as the Queen of Hearts; Philip Winchester (‘Crusoe’) as Jack Chase, Alice’s new love; Allan Gray as White Rabbit; Colm Meaney (Layer Cake, The Damned United) as the King of Hearts; Andrew Lee Potts (‘Primeval’) as Hatter, Tim Curry (Clue) as Dodo; Matt Frewer (‘Eureka’) as the White Knight; Harry Dean Stanton (The Straight Story, Alpha Dog) as Caterpillar; Alessandro Juliani (‘Battlestar Galactica’) as 9 of Clubs; Timothy Webber (‘Men in Trees’) as Carpenter; Alex Diakun as Ratcatcher; and Eugene Lipinski as Doctors Dee and Dum.
