ELI STONE: The Complete Second and Final Season DVD Review

Eli Stone Season 2 DVD

ELI STONE was unfortunately cancelled too soon, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the episodes that were released over and over again. And with the second and final season out on DVD, it’s the perfect opportunity for you to either watch and enjoy every single episode all over again, or to discover a really creative tv show.

If you remember, at the end of season 1, Eli was undergoing an operation to remove his brain aneurysm. The season 2 opening finds Eli vision-free for the past six months. However, he wasn’t expecting some of the repercussions the operation would have. The first episode also features a great musical number, “Dancing in the Street.”

But don’t worry, Eli eventually gets his visions back, otherwise there wouldn’t be a show anymore.

My favorite part about season 2 is Katie Holmes guest starring. She plays Grace, a clumsy girl, whom Eli falls for. These two have really adorable scenes and Katie Holmes performs a really fun musical number.

Season two also includes a split in the firm that impacts all of our characters one way or another. Talyor and Matt have their own issue to deal with. And of course get ready for lots more musical numbers and really great guest stars, including Taraji Henson, Sigourney Weaver, Katey Sagal, Gregory Smith, and Seal. In fact I think I loved season 2 of Eli Stone even more than season 1.

In addition to all 13 episodes, the DVD includes some great special features, including bloopers (you know I love those), a great featurette about the “Dancing in the Street” musical performance, and some deleted scenes.

Overall, I’m a fan. You’re definitely going to love the DVD if you were a fan of Eli Stone, especially since this is also the series finale.

You can buy Eli Stone Season 2 on DVD on Amazon.
