TCA Summer Press Tour Summary


This past week, the TCA Summer Press Tour took place and we thought we would give you guys a quick recap of some of the highlights of the panels.

Here are some of the things you can expect for returning and new TV shows:



– Dr. Raymond Langston (Laurence Fishburne) will be getting a wardrobe makeover this season.

– Catherine will promote Nick pretty early in the new season.



MEDIUM - Patricia Arquette as Allison Dubois  in "An Then..."

– Even though Medium will return on a new network (CBS) this Fall, the family element will continue to be a big part of the show.

– Creator, Glenn Gordon Caron, revealed that he is planning a Mischief Night episode in which one of Allison’s dreams will put her into scenes from Night of the Living Dead.



Tom Welling as Clark Kent - Smallville

– Unfortunately, there are currently no plans for Michael Rosenbaum to return to Smallville as Lex Luther.


Melrose Place

Melrose Place (2009) Cast

– The murder that happens in the first episode will be solved within the first couple of episodes.

– Shooters will not be part of the new Melrose Place.


The Vampire Diaries


– Kevin Williamson describes The Vampire Diaries as a “small town show.”

– Ian Somerhalder will appear in every single episode. He plays Damon Salvatore, Stefan’s (played by Paul Wesley) brother.

– A new series regular will also join the cast soon, who will have a secret agenda, according to Kevin Williamson.


Lie To Me


– In Season 2, Cal Lightman will not only find out who the liars are, he will also become one. I wonder if Foster will be the one to bust him.

– There will also be more father-daughter drama.

– The Thanksgiving episode will take place on Black Friday and will feature someone getting trampled to death at a discount store.

– The new season will also feature an episode in which Eli goes completely silent.



Fringe The Road Not Taken

– The new season of Fringe will take place in two version of reality.

– The season will take place mostly in our reality, although what happens in the other version will impact what happens in our version.

– Leonard Nimoy will appear in several episodes this season.



Chris Colfer, Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Cory Monteith and Jenna Ushkowitz - Glee

– This season will feature an episode entitled “Wheels,” in which the entire cast does a dance routine in a wheelchair.

– The first Glee soundtrack will be released in November, with a second one possibly coming out in December.
