PSYCH “Extradition: British Columbia” Review (Season 4 Episode 1)

Cary Elwes, Dule Hill, James Roday - Psych

The all-new season 4 of PSYCH premieres tonight at 10pm on USA, and I can only imagine that you fans out there are all really excited to see our favorite psychic detective team back at work.

In the season premiere, “Extradition: British Columbia,” Shawn and Gus go on a ski trip in Vancouver, where they discover the notorious international art thief, Pierre Despereaux (Cary Elwes) that Lassiter has been after. And trust me seeing Gus and Shawn skiing is something you don’t want to miss.

Unfortunately, Despereaux is not as easily to catch as Shawn first anticipated, and it’s going to take all his wit to find out exactly how Despereaux is such a good thief. I quite enjoyed that mystery and will admit that didn’t see the ending coming.

Another thing that I also love about the season premiere is that Psych takes a shot at CBS’ The Mentalist, by calling it “earily similar,” “exactly the same,” and “a virtual carbon copy,” it’s pretty hilarious. I mean come on, you know we all thought it when we first heard of the premise for The Mentalist. I posted the video of that scene below for you to enjoy.

There is not much to add, except to say that Psych comes back strong and just like we like it.

So don’t forget to tune in tonight at 10pm on USA and watch the season 4 premiere of Psych.
