SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE “2 Out of 20 Eliminated” (2009) June 12, 2009 Reviews, So You Think You Can Dance Last night, was the first elimination round on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Season 5. As always, the bottom three couples were asked to dance for their lives, so let’s find out what they all did and who got cut. BOTTOM TWO WOMEN: Paris Torres – Music: “It Doesn’t Hurt” by Katie Thompson I honestly wasn’t too impressed by her solo. It was just ok. Asuka Kondoh – Music: “Did Ya” by BoA Go Asuka! I liked it, her style usually makes it hard to dance alone, but she rocked it. Karla Garcia – Music: “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” by Aretha Franklin Karla did pretty good, I enjoyed watching her solo. BOTTOM TWO MEN: Tony Bellissimo – Music: “Early in the Morning” by The Gap Band Wow, that wasn’t really good at all. Was he even doing anything? I am not impressed at all. Vitolio Jeune – Music: “We Belong Together” by Gavin DeGraw He did pretty good. I enjoyed his solo. Jonathan Platero – Music: “Krazy” by Pitbull feat. Lil Jon I don’t know why, but I didn’t feel his solo at all. Apart from the jumps, I didn’t think the dancing was all that exciting. ________________________________________________________________ So who went home? Paris Torres and Tony Bellissimo The judges pretty much thought the exact same thing I did, so it’s no surprise that they both went home.
