AMERICAN IDOL “Top 3 Performs” Review May 13, 2009 American Idol, Reviews It’s finally down to 3 on AMERICAN IDOL Season 8. At this point we don’t really need to find out how they all did, since I’m sure you all have your favorite. However I’ll still share some of my thoughts from tonight’s performance. Danny Gokey Song: “Dance Little Sister” by Terrence Trent Darby Thoughts: Wow, I am so over Danny. This was just ok. He needs to get eliminated. Rating: 1/4 _________________________________________ Kris Allen Song: “Apologize” by OneRepublic Thoughts: I wasn’t sure that Kris could pull it off, but damn he did good. He has to make top 2. Rating: 3/4 _________________________________________ Adam Lambert Song: “One” by U2 Thoughts: Come on, Adam can do no wrong at this point. And Simon is right, if Adam is not in the final 2, it will be a big let down. I don’t think I would even care about the finale. Rating: 4/4 _________________________________________ Danny Gokey Song: “You Are So Beautiful” by Joe Cocker Thoughts: Ok, I’ll give it to Danny, this was a pretty good performance. But I still don’t think he should be in the top 2. Rating: 3/4 _________________________________________ Kris Allen Song: “Heartless” by Kanye West Thoughts: Oh come on! Kris Allen needs to be in the top 2. He can make any song his own. He’s brilliant. Rating: 4/4 _________________________________________ Adam Lambert Song: “Cryin” by Aerosmith Thoughts: What a brilliant song choice, I love Aerosmith! So perfect for Adam’s voice. That man is brilliant beyond words. If he doesn’t make the final two then I will have lost my faith in American Idol. He is the best that’s ever been on American Idol and if that’s not enough to carry him to the finale, then I don’t know what is. Rating: 4/4 _________________________________________ Come on isn’t it obvious, my top 2 choices are Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. Danny has to go.
