DVD Review: SAMANTHA WHO? Season One

Samantha Who Season 1 DVD

Season 1 of SAMANTHA WHO? comes out DVD this Tuesday, September 23. For those of you who haven’t seen the show yet, here is your chance. Plus, Season 2 premieres on October 13.

When I first heard of Samantha Who? last season, I wasn’t too excited about it, and wasn’t sure I was even going to watch it. But after watching one or two episodes, I found myself actually enjoying it. It’s not the best or funniest show I have ever seen, but it’s really relaxing to watch, plus Christina Appelgate is really sweet and funny.

I have to admit that I was a little disappointed by the bonus features on the DVD. Not that they weren’t good, but there just aren’t that many. In fact there are only two:

Deleted Scenes – If you can’t get enough of Samantha, you might enjoy these, they are pretty funny.

Bloopers – And of course, my favorite. Unfortunately, the bloopers were quite short.

Overall, don’t get this for the extra features, but if you feel like watching a fun show, then Samantha Who? is the DVD.
