FRINGE “Pilot” (S1E01) September 7, 2008 Fringe Update: You can read our review of this Fringe episode here. Check out a promo and some pictures from FRINGE‘s pilot episode airing this Tuesday September 9 2008, at 8pm on FOX. After hearing about it, talking about it, it’s finally here. J.J. Abrams’ new series starring Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, and John Noble might be the next best thing on network TV. I’m really curious to see how America will react to this show. Fringe‘s main competition will be CBS’ new show, The Mentalist, which I think will do really good this Fall. I personally want to see what J.J. Abrams has in store for us with this new show. Don’t forget to read our interview with J.J. Abrams and Joshua Jackson. You can see the promo and photos from Fringe‘s pilot episode below. Read all our Fringe coverage here. Episode Synopsis: Pilot – From J.J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, the team behind “Star Trek,†“Mission: Impossible III†and “Alias,†comes a new series that will thrill, terrify and explore the blurring line between the possible and the impossible. When an international flight lands at Boston’s Logan Airport with no signs of life, an unlikely trio – FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham; brilliant but formerly institutionalized scientist Walter Bishop; and his scheming, reluctant son Peter – uncovers a deadly mystery involving a series of unbelievable events and realizes they may be a part of a larger, more disturbing pattern in the series premiere “Pilot†episode of FRINGE.
