Review: SUPERNATURAL “No Rest for the Wicked” (S03E16)

Supernatural

I’m going to start by saying that SUPERNATURAL absolutely brought it for its season finale!

But first things first, the episode already started on a good note for me when the recap at the beginning was accompanied by the song “Carry On My Wayward Son” by Kansas, which funny enough I listen to in my car right now.

Now on to the episode, from experience I thought this finale would be a good one and boy was I right. Of the two options that I thought the finale would end up being (which I mentioned in my previous post), Supernatural decided to go with the first one, and I think that was a wise choice. It did have that “I cannot believe they ended it like this” effect.

As Dean, Sam, and Bobby are on a race against the clock, we get to meet Lilith and man, that girl is SCARY. Seriously, the scene where she comes out with her dress all full of blood, that was one of the freakiest scenes ever.

Another great scene of the night was Dean and Sam singing along the Bon Jovi song, “Wanted, Dead or Alive”:

Sam: “Bon Jovi?”

Dean: “Bon Jovi rocks, on occasion.”

This scene is one of the many reasons I love Supernatural.

And let’s not forget the last scene, yes I’m talking about the scene of Dean in hell screaming for Sam to help him…how can they leave us like this? I want to see the new season of Supernatural now!

So yes, that pretty much guarantees that I will be tuning in next season.
