Chris Daughtry Apologizes For American Idol Slam…Sort of January 25, 2008 American Idol According to recent reports, Chris Daughtry is apologizing for the American Idol Slam where he thought American Idol was on the decline. On his blog, he is basically saying that his remarks were taken out of context and that he thinks that there are a lot of great things coming out of AMERICAN IDOL. And then he adds “I was simply giving my input on what I think would spice the show up a bit. Sorry for being honest.” Hmm, does this sound like an apology to you? I don’t know. It sounds like he is saying something like ” I am sorry you are upset” which is not really an apology. Like I said in my previous post, I just wished he would be respectful and keep his opinion for himself. I think that his celebrity status has gone to his head. Am I asking for too much here?
