On TV Tonight, Sunday 1/13: TERMINATOR, COMANCHE MOON, and more… January 13, 2008 On TV Tonight TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES “Pilot” – 8pm FOX In the series premiere, Sarah Connor struggles to keep her son John Connor safe from an enemy Terminator from the future. She uproots their lives and takes him to live in a small town in New Mexico where he befriends Cameron who ultimately becomes his protector. Meanwhile, FBI Agent James Ellison continues his hunt for Sarah Connor. Read our review of the pilot here. THE AMAZING RACE 12 “Sorry, Guys, ‘I’m Not Happy to See You” – 8pm CBS One Racer celebrates her birthday on the Race and the only gift she wants is a spot in the final three, as the remaining four Teams battle it out for a chance to run the final leg and win the one million dollar prize. THE WIRE “Unconfirmed Reports” – 9pm HBO McNulty has a revelation after a visit to the morgue; Gus’s misgivings about a story on baseball’s opening day fall on deaf ears; Marlo sees a familiar face from the West Side while pursuing a business deal; Walon urges a reluctant Bubbles to share some troubling information; Chris and Snoop take advantage of the police department’s budget cuts; Davis pleads with Burrell to intervene on his behalf. (Source: TV Guide) COMANCHE MOON – 9pm CBS Two proud but very different men, McCrae and Call enlist with a Ranger troop in pursuit of three outlaws: Buffalo Hump, the great Comanche war chief; Kicking Wolf, the celebrated Comanche horse thief; and Ahumado, a deadly Mexican bandit king with a penchant for torture. Assisting the Rangers in their wild chase is the renowned Kickapoo tracker Famous Shoes. They are joined by their comrades-in-arms, Deets, Jake Spoon and Pea Eye Parker, in the bitter struggle to protect an advancing western frontier against the defiant Comanches who are determined to defend their territory and their way of life. FAMILY GUY “McStroke” – 9pm FOX Peter decides to grow a moustache, but then he’s mistaken for a fireman (because they all have moustaches), so he lends a hand when a fire breaks out at a local fast food restaurant. The owner gives him unlimited burgers as a “thank you†but he eats so many that he eventually has a stroke. When Peter recovers, he vows to expose the fast-food company and becomes friends with a genetically engineered cow (Montalban) he meets after infiltrating the McBurgertown warehouse. AMERICAN DAD “Tearjerker” – 9:30pm FOX Stan and the family are characters in a Bond-style spoof when Stan must stop Tearjerker (a.k.a. Roger), a diabolical film producer, who produces movies that can kill. Tearjerker’s fiendish plot involves abducting celebrities from his spa and replacing them with celebrity robots that make horrible movies, all in an effort to make his masterpiece “Oscar’s Gold†the best and saddest movie ever, causing millions of moviegoers cry themselves to death. BROTHERS & SISTERS “The Feast of the Epiphany” – 10pm ABC Tommy and Julia struggle to repair their damaged marriage while Rebecca’s connection with David (Ken Olin as David Caplan) raises some questions about her mother’s past. Meanwhile, Nora and Isaac (guest starring Danny Glover) have a very uncomfortable first date, and Graham (guest starring Steven Weber) helps Sarah regain some of her confidence with the opposite sex.
