On TV Tonight, Monday 12/10: JOURNEYMAN, ALIENS IN AMERICA, and more… December 10, 2007 On TV Tonight HOW I MET YOU MOTHER “The Platinum Rule” – 8pm CBS When the gang finds out that Ted is taking his doctor on a date, they try to convince him, through examples of their own toxic experiences, why it’s never a good idea to get into a relationship with someone you see on a regular basis. EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS “Everybody Hates Kwanzaa” – 8pm the CW With Christmas break right around the corner, Chris’ (Tyler James Williams) holiday cheer turns to holiday blues when his teacher, Ms. Morello (Jacqueline Mazarella), assigns homework requiring each student to do a good deed over the break. Chris decides that his good deed will be to help Kill Moves (Jeris Lee Poindexter) visit his mother (guest star Rashad) for the holidays, but the assignment becomes more challenging when he discovers that Kill Moves doesn’t know how to find her. Meanwhile, Julius (Terry Crews) decides to boycott Christmas in favor of Kwanzaa which is a less expensive holiday. ALIENS IN AMERICA “Church” – 8:30pm the CW As Christmas approaches, Raja (Adhir Kalyan) mentions that the Tolchuck’s trip to the local mega-store every Sunday seems to be their substitute for church. Franny (Amy Pietz) is horrified that Raja thinks the family is spiritually bankrupt and insists that they resume attending church, despite Gary’s (Scott Patterson) lack of enthusiasm. When Claire (Lindsey Shaw) requests birth control pills for Christmas, Franny insists that she join the church’s chastity group and take the role of Mary in the Christmas play. This plan backfires when Claire and the boy who plays Joseph are strongly attracted to one another. Meanwhile, when Justin (Dan Byrd) discovers that some of his prayers are being answered, he begins praying to have sex with a girl in his class. Unfortunately, his friend Dooley (Adam Rose) is praying for the same thing, causing a rift between the two boys. JOURNEYMAN “Home By Another Way” – 10pm NBC Layoffs hit Dan’s (Kevin McKidd) office on Christmas eve and he is forced to travel back in time to save the newspaper. At home, Katie (Gretchen Egolf) trys to enjoy the holidays but struggles to get her traumatizing experience out of her head. While Dan is traveling he discovers a new secret about Livia (Moon Bloodgood). Meanwhile, Jack (Reed Diamond) and Theresa get some unexpected news. For all our daily schedules, click here.
