My New TV Addictions – Supernatural, Malcolm in the Middle, and Torchwood

First I would like to wish you all a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I wanted to mention a few of my new TV addictions. Technically, the TV shows are not new, but they are TV shows that I recently have been watching obsessively. I know, I know, I shouldn’t even be adding any new TV shows to my already full schedule, but I can’t help it, especially if I love the show. Anyway, so here they are:

Supernatural - JARED PADALECKI as Sam, JENSEN ACKLES as Dean

SUPERNATURAL – I mentioned that I was starting a Supernatural “quest” a while ago. At the time I was renting the episodes through Netflix. All of that was before the nice people from Warner Bros sent me the first two seasons on DVD. So now I have two seasons of Supernatural sitting in front of my TV teasing me everyday. Needless to say that I have been watching Supernatural pretty much everyday. I’m almost done with the first season, and will be starting on the second pretty soon. If I keep this up I will be getting up to date in no time. Then I’ll have to catch up to season 3, that’s why you gotta love the online episodes made available by the CW for Supernatural. And in case you’re wondering, I love Supernatural, it’s such an easy and relaxing show to watch, sometimes I watch 3 or 4 episodes one after the other without even realizing it. I am so glad I am discovering it now.

Malcolm in the Middle

MALCOLM IN THE MIDDLE – This is such a classic TV show for me. I have set up the series to be recorder on my DVR and have been watching reruns pretty much everyday as well. No matter how many times I watch the episodes, they still crack me up. Too bad that the only DVD for the show released is Season One. They have to release all the seasons of Malcolm in the Middle, so I can add them to my library. I cannot get enough of Malcolm, Reese, Dewey, Francis, Hal, and Lois. The funniest thing about Malcolm in the Middle is that Hal is as bad as the kids, he is so funny. Plus from the very first episode to them growing up, they are still as funny as ever. I wish it had continued a little longer.

Torchwood - John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness

TORCHWOOD – If you listened to our last podcast, then you know I have just recently discovered Torchwood. Man, that show is good. I watched the first episode a while ago and didn’t really like it then. But one of my friends bought me the whole first season from England and I decided to give it a second shot. It’s a good thing I did because I love it. I still have the very last episode to watch that I have been keeping because I don’t want the season to end yet. All I can say is that you need to watch Torchwood. The first season is still airing on BBC America Saturdays at 8pm. Now you even have something to watch on Saturday nights, it’s heaven. For more information, check out Torchwood‘s Official Website on BBC America.
