Monday Night TV: HEROES and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Reviews

There are two TV shows I would like to talk about from Monday night, HEROES and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.

HEROES - Katie Carr as Caitlin, Milo Ventimiglia as Peter Petrelli in

Starting with HEROES. I am sorry to say that even with the very anticipated arrival of Kristen Bell as the new electric character, Elle, last night’s Heroes “Fight or Flight” was just …. eh.

All I can remember was just watching the episode and then when it ended I was like “that’s it?” no cliffhanger, no excitement for next week? Even the previews for next week’s episode of Heroes left me pretty much unexcited.

What is going on with Season 2? I remember always wanting more after every episode of season 1, but right now, I think Heroes is wearing me out. Here are some of my complaints:

No Sylar in “Fight or Flight.”

I am so tired of Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) being in Ireland, I find this story so boring and not believable, and this is Heroes we’re talking about.

Kristen Bell as Elle. Even though she was good, she had way too short on-screen time.

Micah and Monica … bored, I can’t even really remember what the story was about this week.

They need to wrap up the Hiro/Takezo Kensei story, it’s just got to the point where I don’t even care anymore. Get them back to the present for crying out loud.

Don’t even get me started with the whole Ando scenes reading the parchment. It was supposed to be funny… not.

So confused about the disfigured Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar)… What is the deal?

I am still a fan of Heroes and will keep watching, but they need to get it together.

How I Met Your Mother - Neil Patrick Harris as Barney in

Moving on to HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER and “How I Met Everyone Else.”

I would like to only mention one thing: Hot/Crazy Scale!

They did it again! How I Met Your Mother came up with some of the smartest writing on TV.

You should read Barney’s Blog and take the Hot/Crazy test to see where you stand on the scale.

Second thing I would like to mention: Blah Blah… no need to say more.
