DIRTY SEXY MONEY – “Pilot” Review

Dirty Sexy Money

I wanted to make sure to mention my thoughts on DIRTY SEXY MONEY, especially since I wasn’t too excited about it. I am happy to say that I actually did like Dirty Sexy Money. I wasn’t blown away by it but it was WAY better than I expected. It doesn’t have a season pass yet because it still needs to step it up for me and get me more involved with the characters, but it has potential.

I would definitely recommend you take a look at one episode and then decide if this is the show for you. You might be surprised.

I think one of the best part of the episode is the opening scene with the Darlings arriving to the funeral. That whole sequence was pretty awesome with the music and everything. It’s funny how they portray them as celebrities just because they’re rich. And of course, who could forget the line that defines Dirty Sexy Money: “Well, you’re poor!” That was a good one.

I really like the actors too, especially Peter Krause and Donald Sutherland (which I had mentioned before), that definitely helped me like the show. The meeting where Tripp Darling (Donald Sutherland) offers Nick George (Peter Krause) 5 million dollars as if it was nothing was interesting, in a good way. Did I mention I love these two actors?

I wish I could remember more of the little things I liked about the show, but I have watched so much TV the last few days that everything is starting to get blurry. Some shows need to get cancelled soon or I will go crazy, there is too much to watch and if it stays that way, I might have to give up on a few shows.
