Before I get into more thoughts about the win, let’s take look at how the night went down. There were so many routines, I am overwhelmed.

The top 20 is back how exciting, although I have to admit, I had forgotten about some of them.

Lion King Routine – top 20
Choreography: Tyce DiOrio

Thoughts: I love The Lion King music, it’s so beautiful and the routine is wonderful. So nice to see all of them again.

Mary’s Favorite Routine:

Choreography: Shane Sparks

Thoughts: When I first saw this routine I thought it was amazing, I don’t know how the heck they did it. Seeing it again was so much fun.

Surprises, surprises, we get guest performers as well tonight, who didn’t make it into the competition.

Thoughts: Not the routine I would have picked, but I guess it was fun to see them dance again. I think I actually liked it better this time.

Danny and Lacey in Finals

First contestant eliminated: LACEY SCHWIMMER – I kind of saw this coming, especially since it was between her and Danny. I think she took it well. So now we have three contestants left. Who will it be?

Nicole Scherzinger on So You Think You Can Dance

Nicole Scherzinger performs her new debut single “Whatever U Like” get it on Nicole Scherzinger - Whatever U Like - Single - Whatever U Like – It’s not that different from the Pussycat Dolls except that she’s alone on stage. I usually like them, but I’m not sure about that song.

Shane Sparks’ Favorite Routine:

Choreography: Benji Schwimmer

Thoughts: This is probably one of my favorite routine this season, and I am so excited I got to see it again.

Thoughts: Not my favorite, but seeing it again, I really admired both dancers. It brings back so many memories of this season.

Anya and Danny in Finals

Tony Meredith’s Favorite Routine:

Choreography: Wade Robson
Music: “Cabaret Hoover” from The Triplets of Belleville (Soundtrack)
Thoughts: One of my other favorite routines. I think it’s after seeing this the first time that I fell in love with “So You Think You Can Dance.”

Mia Michaels’ Favorite Routine:

Choreography: Mandy Moore
Music: “Sweet Dreams” by Eurythmics get it on Eurythmics - Ultimate Collection - Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)
Thoughts: Oh yes, I loved that one too. I think it’s one of the reason I love Neil now.

Neil and Sabra in Finals

Second contestant eliminated: NEIL HASKELL – This is getting really exciting. Neil is out which leaves my girl Sabra and Danny. I think Neil went a long way and improved more and more every week. I really loved everything he has been doing the last few weeks.

Mia Michaels’ Group Performance

Music: “The Moment I Said It” by Imogen Heap get it on Imogen Heap - Speak for Yourself - The Moment I Said It
Thoughts: We all know I love Mia Michaels and I just love this group performance. Is there something I don’t like tonight?

NIGEL & CAT – So they were supposed to dance together but all we got was a video of some sort of animation with a picture of Nigel and Cat’s head and fake bodies dancing. I didn’t find it very funny. Oh well, moving on.

Ryan Cabrera on So You Think You Can Dance

Ryan Cabrera performs “I Will Remember You” get it on Ryan Cabrera - I Will Remember You - Single - I Will Remember You – I cannot believe that’s who’s singing the song they put during the montage, I LOVE that song! It’s official I’m a fan of Ryan Cabrera, how did that happen? Oh and I have to say I like him better as a blond.

Dan Karatay’s Favorite Routine:

Choreography: Mia Michaels
Music: “Time” by Billy Porter get it on Billy Porter - At the Corner of Broadway + Soul (Live) - Time
Thoughts: This was a beautiful choreography by Mia Michaels and knowing what the story is always makes me emotional.

Finally the results are in and THE WINNER IS: SABRA JOHNSON – I could not be happier. I have been raving about Sabra for so long, I love her and I am so glad she won. This is the best night ever. And I think it gives so much hope to all the people out there who think it’s too late for them to start dancing. Remember that Sabra has only been dancing for 4 years. There are no words to describe her, she is such a BEAUTY!!!
