LIFE recasts Melissa Sagemiller July 17, 2007 Life, News LIFE is recasting the role of Constance Griffiths, the lawyer who helps Charlier Crews (Damian Lewis) overturn his conviction. Originally played by Melissa Sagemiller. The producers said they wanted to get an older actress for the role. Too bad, I usually enjoy watching Melissa Sagemiller. But who knows, maybe her replacement will be even better.
