What is Warehouse 13 About?

Eureka seems like any other cozy, Pacific Northwest town, but is actually a secret community of geniuses assembled by the government to conduct top-secret research. What they’ve unwittingly created is a place where anything imaginable can happen… and does. New and returning fans won’t want to miss the big changes in store for everyone in Eureka after a cataclysmic shift turns their lives upside down.

Joining the cast of “Eureka” this season is James Callis who portrays scientist “Dr. Grant,” a former resident of the town whose unexpected return is cause for serious alarm for all and significant friction for Sherriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson), considering Grant’s romantic interest in Allison Blake (Salli Richardson-Whitfield). For four seasons Callis starred as “Dr. Gaius Baltar” on Syfy’s award-winning original series “Battlestar Galactica,” garnering both critical acclaim and fan adoration for his portrayal of the self-serving, opportunistic genius.

Eureka stars Colin Ferguson (“Sheriff Jack Carter”) Salli Richardson-Whitfield (“Allison Blake”), Joe Morton (“Henry Deacon”), Erica Cerra (“Jo Lupo”), Neil Grayston (“Douglas Fargo”), Niall Matter (“Zane Donovan”), James Callis (“Dr. Grant”), and features Jordan Hinson (“Zoe Carter”). Co-creator Jaime Paglia and Bruce Miller are executive producers. The series is produced and distributed by Universal Cable Productions.

Once again this season series stars Colin Ferguson and Joe Morton will direct episodes and also making her directorial debut is female lead Salli Richardson-Whitfield. Guest stars this season include Jaime Ray Newman (“Eastwick”), Matt Frewer (“Watchmen”) and Wil Wheaton (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”) and Jamie Kennedy.After saving the life of the President, two Secret Service agents, Pete Lattimer and Myka Bering, find themselves abruptly transferred to Warehouse 13 — a massive, top-secret storage facility in windswept South Dakota which houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and supernatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government.

Pete Lattimer is a handsome, athletic Secret Service Agent whose impulsive, intuitive nature often leads him to leap before he looks. There is hardly a situation so dire to which he can’t find the lighter side.

Secret Service Agent Myka Bering is a woman born to be an agent. Organized and focused, she believes in hard work, solid planning and steadfast execution. Needless to say, it is an approach that causes conflict with Pete’s off-the-cuff style.

Secret Service Agent Artie Nielsen is Warehouse 13′s caretaker, who charges Pete and Myka with chasing down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in pursuit of new objects to cache at the Warehouse which “threaten to ruin the world’s day.”

Claudia Donovan is a young, hip, brilliant techno wiz who manages to successfully breach the Warehouse’s complex security system, ultimately persuading Artie to let her stay and help with their missions.

Artie’s boss, Mrs. Frederic’s over-shadowing and enigmatic presence directs the team’s ongoing investigations to hunt down the peculiar, dangerous and threatening objects that must be secured at any cost.
