‘House of Cards’ Season 3 Announced by Netflix

House of Cards Season 2 (5)

Frank is just so hard to say no to. (Usually because he’s blackmailing someone).

Just a few days before House of Cards‘ season two February 14th release date, TV Line confirms Netflix has ordered a third season of their award-winning political drama. The series has earned Netflix mainstream accolades with Emmy nods, a Writers Guild award and more.

House of Cards tracks the exploits of the ambitious and conniving southern politician Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his equally enterprising wife (Robin Wright).

Do you think the third season renewal is a bit premature, or do you appreciate the confidence Netflix has in their flagship series?

Once again, season two will be available to stream in its entirety on Netflix beginning Friday, February 14th.
