‘Deadtime Stories’ Series Premiere Announced By Nickelodeon

Nickelodeon will deliver the spooky with the premiere episode of Deadtime Stories on Thursday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). The new half-hour series will air each week in October in celebration of Halloween. ‘Deadtime Stories’ will feature actress Jennifer Stone (Wizards of Waverly Place) as the babysitter who tells spine tingling tales. The show is inspired by the well known children’s book series penned by sisters, Annette Cascone and Gina Cascone. Fans will be treated to back-to-back episodes every Thursday at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

“Deadtime Stories offers a mysterious element that complements our comedy-filled programing,” Russell Hicks, Nickelodeon’s President of Content Development and Production, said. “Fans of the popular book series will delight in seeing their favorite haunted tales jump off the pages and onto the screen.”

“We are thrilled to be working with Nickelodeon to bring this wonderfully engaging book series to life. We are excited to have the incredibly talented Jennifer Stone anchoring the show; and it has been a pleasure working with all of the young performers and established veteran actors throughout the series,” said series producers, David and Scott Hillenbrand.

The ‘Deadtime Stories’ series premiere ‘Invasion of the Appleheads’ will hit the air first with a terrifying haunted hayride, zombies and more followed by the series’ second episode ‘Along Came a Spider’.
