‘Sons of Anarchy’ creator Kurt Sutter has announced via Twitter that the hit FX series will roll out a post show this season. In a similar format to that of AMC’s ‘Talking Dead’, the series has been titled Anarchy Afterwards, according to Deadline.
‘Anarchy Afterwards’ is slated to debut following Sons of Anarchy’s sixth season debut on FX, September 10. The special feature will be hosted by Chelsea Lately’s Chris Franjola. The network has picked up three episodes of the post show that will feature cast members, a questions and answers forum, and more. Aside from airing after the season opener, ‘Afterwards’ will also follow episode five and the season six finale. Fans who miss the show can tune in online where ‘Anarchy Afterwards’ will be available for streaming.
‘Sons of Anarchy’ may not be the only FX series to get the post show treatment. FX’s CEO John Landgraf has revealed that the network is considering a post show for Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s thriller ‘American Horror Story’. “I’d love to do it. We’re thinking about it. If we do it, I don’t think we’ll necessarily do it the way AMC does, as a linear thing. We might do an online thing. We haven’t made a final decision, but I think there’s a decent possibility we’re going to do something like that for Coven.”
