PBS Favorite ‘Doc Martin’ Returning to ITV for Season 6 [Video]

Doc Martin, the British series about an ill-tempered doctor (Martin Clunes) with a phobia of blood has found popularity on both sides of the pond thanks to airings on PBS. Now the good Doc is returning for a sixth season on ITV, and the network has released a charming new trailer that suggests that Martin and his long-time love interest Louisa (Caroline Catz) could finally get married. Before they get around to making things official, Martin will have his share of cases to attend to while also continuing to adjust to life as the father of a baby boy. Check out the trailer below.

Doc Martin season six will air on ITV in Fall 2013. The U.S. airdate has not yet been confirmed, but if PBS keeps with tradition, expect the new season to make its way stateside sometime in 2014.
