‘The Mindy Project’ and ‘New Girl’ Snap Up ‘Happy Endings’ Stars Adam Pally and Damon Wayans, Jr.

It doesn’t look like the Happy Endings‘ gang will stay unemployed for long if Fox has anything to do with it.

Adam Pally, who played Max on ABC’s critically beloved sitcom, has landed a role in season two of The Mindy Project, TV Line reports. Pally’s multi-episode arc will find him starring alongside Kaling as an OB/GYN that joins the practice. This news comes just days after it was announced James Franco would be subbing in for Kaling’s fictional counterpart during her Haiti trip.

Meanwhile, TV Line has also revealed that Damon Wayans, Jr. (Happy Endings‘ Brad) will reprise his role of Coach in New Girl season three for at least four episodes. Wayans previously appeared in the series’ pilot, but had to drop out when Happy Endings scored a season two renewal.

Are you excited to see the Happy Endings‘ cast finding new gigs?

New Girl and The Mindy Project will return to Fox September 17th beginning at 9/8c.
