‘Criminal Minds’ Season 9 Casts Camryn Manheim in Premiere

TV veteran Camryn Manheim is heading to Criminal Minds for the two-part season nine premiere, TV Line has revealed.

Manheim will play the “protective” mother of an UnSub, despite her son’s serious issues that involve murdering girls who look like his ex. It’s possible that the son won’t be the only one with problems, which is not surprising. Could there be some mommy issues on the horizon?

Manheim’s previous roles include stints on Harry’s Law, The L Word, How I Met Your Mother and her Emmy-Award winning role as Ellenor Frutt on The Practice.

Criminal Minds season 9 is set to premiere Wednesday, September 25th at 9/8c on CBS.
